StepSetGo (SSG) is a steps tracking mobile app founded by Shivjeet, Abhay, and Misaal in 2018. The app aims to help 400Mn+ health-conscious Indians to overcome inertia and follow their fitness routines through gamification & rewards.
The app tracks a person’s movement or steps and suggests health routines, thereby building sustainable healthy fitness solutions, using rewards & gamification as a core driver to engage and retain customers.
The founders have a right mix of tech experience + business acumen. Inception of SSG was when founders were discussing that “he should be paid for going to the gym” and then only he will be motivated enough to do this.
The global fitness app market size is estimated to reach USD 298.30 Billion by 2026, registering a 31.25% CAGR. The Asia Pacific region is also witnessing a rise in disposable income, which is expected to be a key driver of growth. The market is forecasted to grow particularly in China and India, owing to an increased outbreak of chronic diseases like obesity and diabetes. SSG has a TAM of 400 million health-conscious Indians.

We believe the fitness app industry has immense growth potential. Rising penetration of smartphones and tablets, growing demand for real-time data, and increasing emphasis on maintaining a healthy lifestyle are major growth drivers for this market.
We are impressed with what the founders have achieved while being bootstrapped, and they have been able to prove monetization in a tough segment.
