What is HealthySure?
HealthySure is an insurtech company with a vision to build a comprehensive health benefits platform converging Health Security and Health Management for Corporate Employees. They are working towards being a unified health insurance product.
Anuj Parekh, CEO of HealthySure, is an IIM-B alumni and a CA, he has worked with likes of Virgin Hyperloop, EY. While Sanil Basutkar, is a CA who is a ISB alumni, and looks after the product side of things at HealthySure.
What does Healthysure do?
The company is targeting the $11 bn+ group health insurance market. Discovering the right policy for employees is a cumbersome process where most decisions are taken in influence of a insurance broker, who are acting on their interests . Morever, there’s a lot of duplication between policies bought by the employer and the employee. HealthySure has leveraged tech to make the process more transparent for both corporates and employers alike.
Why now ?
The group health insurance market still remains largely offline and tech upgradation has not been seen for long. HealthySure team was determined to make the process easier and transparent and help corporates make right decisions for their employers.
Conclusion
Insurance is a large market in India , where digitalisation has been almost negligible. We believe the effort to make group insurance more accessible and transparent can emerge as a disruption in this traditional industry. Employees today want good hassle-free services and employers want to work with trustworthy partners, this is what Healthysure is trying to solve for
